een and enna chapter 1

Chapter 1

Does that look weird to you?

On a hot Summer evening, 7:30, August 15,  Mrs Sandra Mckelle  was escorted to the emergency room to give birth, Een and Enna kicked at her belly. "Ahhhh!"  shreiked Mrs Mckelle  as Een and Enna were pulled out of her belly."Waaaa!" cried both of them in unison. The doctors were shocked with what they saw... Een had her mouth to one side, one eyebrow up and one down. As for Enna, she was born with a sad face, her mouth the opposite of a smile and her eyebrows sad and drooped.

" Does that look weird to you?'' Dr Merstola Murmured to Nurse Mello.                     ''Certainly does," she murmured back.            "Oh my!'' bellowed Mrs Mckelle when she saw her twins, " Oh my, oh my, oh my! Ho-ly! Holy cow! Holy chickens! Holy twins! Why, nothing to worry about, but they might have heart disease, face disease! Oh, my beautiful darlings!"      "Nothing to worry about miss, we have done the checks and they are perfectly healthy, their faces will go in about 2 weeks. Something in their hormones must have triggered their, uhhhh...face,'' Dr Merstola assured Mrs Mckelle.

''Oh, thank the lord!'' Mrs Mckelle said with relief.                                                                            Soon, they did a few more checks on Een and Enna, then said they were good to go. Mr Mckelle got the double stroller and strapped the twins in.                                                                       ''Why, such unique beauties they are!" Mr Mckelle commented and said nothing more. As the parents strapped the twins in each their own baby seat in the car, Mr Mckelle noticed, ''They are exeedingly tall for their age,".                            ''They are! They'll be allowed on rides for 90cm when they're  nearly 2!'' exclaimed the astonished Mrs Mckelle.

When the parents were strapped in themselves, they set off, not to their house, their friends. The upstairs neighbours in the Mckelle's house had left the bath on for too long and the bath had over flooded. This caused the bath to spill and leak onto the Mckelle's ceiling and that broke the ceiling. So the ceiling would be fixed in one week, paid by their upstairs neighbours. Their friends [The Melano's] had 7 year old twins and had never threw out their cribs, so Een and Enna could use it for the week. The Mckelle's two other daughters were already at the Melano's house. Emmy, short for Emmanesana was the Mckelle's 2nd daughter, was 7 and got along with Melony and Bethany, the Melano twins. Samantha [ Who eveyone called Sammy] was the 1st daughter, was 10, was close in age to the Melano twins and therefore got along with them too.

Suddenly, as they were driving, they came across a traffic jam, so long it added an extra hour to their drive. After about 20 minutes, Een and Enna began to get fussy, " bubububu papapa nananannnnnnnnn ooooooooo!''blowing a rasberry.                                                                     "That's it!'' barked Mr Mckelle irritated and slamming his hand on the steering wheel.                "No, it's not, because we're still in a traffic jam, and there's nothing we can do about it," Mrs Mckelle replied, tired, but calm. After an hour and 35 minutes,  they pulled onto the highway, out of traffic. Mr Mckelle sighed, Een and Enna stopped fussing and drifted to sleep.

Soon after, they discovered the traffic jam was caused by a car crash between a normal car and a self driving taxi, fortunately, nobody died.             "That's why i don't trust self driving cars,'' Mrs Mckelle said, shaking her head after reading the tragic news. "Mom, Dad!'' Sammy cried, "Where were you?"                                                                  " Traffic jam,'' the parents said, simutainously, looking at each other.                                                ''Mommy, Daddy!" Emmy shouted, running over to hug them.                                                                    ''The babies!" Mrs Mckelle said, grinning.          Sammy held them first, because she was older, then Emmy held her, but  sitting down and accompanied because she was younger.

"They look funny mommy," Emmy stated, curiously.                                                                     ''Yeah mom, what's up?'' Sammy questioned.          "I don't know,'' Mrs Mckelle admitted, " The doctor said it must be their hormoned or something, but it's not permanent, it'll go in about 1 or 2 weeks,".                                                   "What's Hormoneesusoo?'' Emmy asked.             " Nothing,"Sammy replied.

"Woah, weird babies, eh?" the Melano twins commented.                                                                    "Meloney! Bethany! Don't be rude! I'm so sorry! Do you mind if i leave the kids with you and Fred while i  go out, Tom is running late from work today," Mrs Melano apologised, rushingly heading to the door.                                                      '' Of course you can leave them with   me! It's the least i can do after you and Tom let us in your house for a week!"Mrs Mckelle answered.             "Thank you so much, you are too kind Sandra!"Mrs Melano thanked.  After Een and Enna had been fed, they wereput in the Melano twin's old cots. "Shhhhh,"Mrs Mckelle gently hushed them to sleep. The older girls were playing in Meloney and Bethany's room. Emmy was a princess, Bethany was the queen, Sammy was a maid and Meloney was an evil witch."I'm going to turn you into a frog, MWAHAHAHAHA, KABOOSH!" Mrs Mckelle heard Meloney say.

Mr Mckelle was on the phone with  the goverment, here in the UK, they gave newborns everything they needed for 2 weeks. "Ok thank you. Yes, yes, thank you,"Mr Mckelle said to the phone.                                                                          "Well next week back to our house,'' commented Mrs Mckelle.                                                              ''I'm worried there's going to be mold though, then we would have to move out, it's not good for the kids, especially newborns," Mr Mckelle said, worriedly.                                            "Let us just hope that doesn't happen then," replied Mrs Mckelle.

She walked over to the Melano twins room and said softly, "Bedtime Sammy and Emmy,"               "But Meloney and Bethany get to stay up until 7:30!" Sammy argued.                                              "Well you sleep at 7:00 and always have," Mrs Mckelle said firmly.
