The End of Een and Enna, book 1 BABYHOOD
ABOUT THE AUTHOR I was 9 and 10 when I wrote this book . I grew up in Canada and moved to UAE when I was 4, then I moved to UK when I was 5, then to UAE when I was 7 again. WHAT INSPIRED ME TO WRITE THIS BOOK I created a fake Een and Enna in my home and wrote a book about it. Some of the trouble really happened! Like swallowing the magnet, my sister swallowed a magnet when she was 3 and we really did find it in her poop! But not the evacuation or other chapters. READ A SNEAK PEEK OF... THE TWINS TERRIBLE TWOS! CHAPTER 1 FROZEN FRIDAY Frozen. That was it, everything was frozen. The Mckelle's backyard was all snowy and their car looked like an ice cube! CHAPTER 8 The twins first birthday This was it. It was finally their birthday! But disaster struck... As a lot of Sammy, Emmy, Mr Mckelle and Mrs Mckelle's cousins, brothers, sisters and friends piled in, they brought in the cake to sing happy birthday. Rover barked and licked Enna as she giggled. They lit the candles and the twins blew a raspberry at the candles to blow them out. Een stuck her hand in the cake and licked it, and Enna put her foot in her mouth. When the adults went to gather the presents, Een cannon balled into the cake. She looked invisible, camouflaged, lowered in the cake. The adults came in and put the presents neatly on the birthday table, when one of Mrs Mckelle's friends asked,"Isn't this supposed to be a TWINS first birthday party?" CHAPTER 7 The Evacuation One cold night, there was a wretched, nasty blizzard, and the electricity was cut off. They were left in a freezing house with no warmth. They all huddled under the fluffy, heavy blanket in the master bedroom like sardines packed together in a tin. The twins were wearing their most cozy outfit: The next morning, the most peculiar thing happened: the electricity was on and the news had some devastating news. "There is a wildfire spreading all over London due to the dry trees in the blizzard. The fire is making its way to Bradford, Leeds, Manchester and more. If you are in the west or south area of these cities, we suggest you evacuate," the news announced. The Mckelles lived in the South of Manchester! The family's jaws were hanging open in shock. Een and Enna chapter 6 FIRST STEPS
CHAPTER 6 First Steps The twins were now 10 months old, and therefore, ready for walking! Mr and Mrs Mckelle excitedly held out their hands, on parent on either side. They were teaching the twins to walk. At first, Een and Enna kept falling, but they still didn't give up. Soon, Een could walk a maximum of three steps. Although Enna could barely walk a step, she kept trying. After three hours, Een could almost reach Mrs Mckelle and Enna could walk five steps! Every day, they practiced and practiced and practiced, until they could walk over fifty steps; maybe with a bit of falling. The twins were smiling from ear to ear with proudness. They couldn't wait to cause more trouble The next day, they went to a restaurant as a family, next to a pool. The lifeguard wasn't there because the pool was closed: it was too dark. Een and Enna chapter 5 The twins first softplay area The twins were really excited for... their first softplay area! What could possibly go wrong? They were bubbling with excitement from head to toe, giddy with joy. Enna dressed in her pink her pink heart shirt and unicorn bottoms, Een refused her outfit, she only wanted the dinosaur outfit. Een and Enna had long hair for their age, so Enna had two buns. While Een had a tree styled hairdo with a bow hair tie bunching it all together. They were now 8 months. As they were in their car seats, Een sort of punched the wall and said "ppbb." Enna put her thumb on the wall and punched with her thumb and said,"Thuuu." When they got to the Happy Place Adventure Kidzone, Mrs Mckelle paid 20 pounds each, one for Een, one for Enna and one for herself.
