Een and Enna chapter 4
Een and Enna chapter 4
solid food and crawling
Een and Enna were now 6 months old and had just learned to crawl! Een crawled normally, but as fast as lightning, Enna however, bottom shuffled. Now that they had access to an Easier, better, more advanced, efficient and less dizzying way of traveling, what trouble couldn't they cause?
They had now been living in their new house for 2 months and most of the furniture had been placed . The house was GIGANTIC! The backyard was huge and full of life. Bee's buzzing, butterfly's flying and eggs hatching, as it was spring. There were pretty poppy's, darling Daisies and unfortunately, nettles. On the concrete, there were two chairs and a table, were one could relax in the spring breeze. Inside, the house was messy, full of boxes and dust, most of the boxes empty. The furniture was modern with patterns and the twins nursery was brightly colored. The twins changed and got ready to go to the clinic for their newborn checkup with took place every 6 months and were going to see if they could eat solid foods now...
10 minutes later, the twins and Mrs Mckelle had arrived at the clinic. "I'm here for doctor Margo, i have a checkup for Een and Enna Mckelle, they're now 6 months old,'' Mrs Mckelle saidto the nurse asking questions.
"They are average weight, but not average height!" the nurse said, " They are 33.7 cm! You can have a seat in the waiting room ma'am,''. "Thank You," answered Mrs Mckelle. "unchch!" Een babbled. "mmm nch!" Enna cried. After 2 minutes of waiting, they were called to Dr Margo's office.
"Sandra, Sandra Mckelle?'' called the nurse. As Mrs Mckelle entered the office, Dr.Margo told them to take a seat. "So do they have any conditions, or diseases..." Dr. Margo asked. "No, but they were born with unnatural faces," Mrs Mckelle replied. As Dr. Margo did a checkup on Een and Enna, she announced they were definitely ready for solid food. "So there's green peas and corn, strawberrys and bananas, green apple and dates and pumpkin and chicken that comes with this follow up appointment." Dr. Margo told Mrs Mckelle. "Thank you so much!" Mrs Mckelle said appreciatively. When they arrived home, Een and Enna knew how they could put their eating to use: for trouble.
They went on a scavenger hunt, Enna found a pen lid, she put it in her mouth, then decided she didn't like it and spat it out. As Mr Mckelle was assembling something for his work, engineering, Een found a miniscule, tiny magnet on the floor, then swallowed it!
"Oh Een!" exclaimed Mr Mckelle, shaking his head and holding his head in his hands, shocked. Mr and Mrs Mckelle didn't find the magnet in Een's mouth, so decided that every day, they would have to check Een's poop.
If they didn't find it in the next week, they would visit the clinic again. The next day, when Een pooped in her diaper, they disgustedly opened it to check if there was any magnet inside. Nothing. The next day, they did the same again, also nothing! At this rate, Mrs and Mr Mckelle were starting to get worried.
Until finally, Een did a huge, smelly poop in her little diaper. Can you believe that indeed, it was the magnet! From then on, they put all small thing out of reach from Een and Enna.
